Look what arrived from Russia, courtesy of the lovely Nata! A postcard featuring the Okean 214, a radio with some serious history. I've always been fascinated by vintage electronics, and this one is a gem. Imagine tuning in to broadcasts from all over the world on this baby!
Apparently, the Okean 214, made around 1985, was a powerhouse with FM, LW, and multiple SW bands, ran on AC or batteries, and was known for its incredible sensitivity. It just goes to show how well-made things were back then.
Thanks to Smelie Cards for printing this piece of nostalgia and to Nata for thinking of me!
